There are several different ways to serve apple wine:

Pure - just like it says, pure apple wine, no mixers

Sauergespritzt - apple wine mixed with mineral water (sour)

Süssgespritzt - apple wine mixed with lemon or orange soda (sweet)

Hot - heated (not boiled) apple wine with spices such as cinnamon and lemon

This last option is great on a cold winter's day!
